Marvel vs Capcom 2

This Week on Xbox Live [XBLA & DotW]
Written Monday, February 08, 2010 By Richard Walker

On Xbox Live this week, we have a triumvirate of marvellous fighters whose prices have been slashed.

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 gets sliced by Wolverine's adamantium claws, going down from 1200 Microsoft points to 800MS Points for this week. Also, the heroes in a half shell go half price, with TMNT: Turtles in Time Reshelled being reduced from 800MSP to 400MSP.

Finally, Invincible Tiger: The Legend of Han Tao gets karate chopped from 1200 Microsoft points to a more palatable 800.

Additionally, Darwinia+ will be coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace, hitting the Arcade from Wednesday February 10th for 1200MS Points.

And that's your lot for now. See anything you like?

Turtles should have bee 400msp to start with. They shouldn't have changed it, that's where your extra 5 clams went.
That being said, i'll pick it up now for $5.

When he said they were going to be fighting games, I assumed all Street Fighter ones, not Arcade rehashes. MvC2 is worth it.

VERY pleased with these discounts! I was upset that I missed the MvC2 sale price during the holidays, and I really didn't want to hafta pay 1200. And TMNT is too tempting for only 400; gonna get that as well. After picking up 'Splosion Man for 400 last week, I'm doing well towards catching up on the games I missed over the past eight months.

Perfect Dark has been finished since at least November and STILL no release, I love how Microsoft full on refuse to release any of the arcade games I actually want, way to go.

Great, now I have to choose between MvC2, TMNT, Bioshock2, ME2, and Dantes Inferno; and I just bought 'Splosion Man last week too. Getting pretty hard to choose between all of these great games...and props to MS for a SOLID DOTW

Will definetly pick up TMNT for 400 points. Been waiting for a price drop on that for a long time.

Now if they can only drop the price in half of Feeding Frenzy 2, i'll be a happy camper.

I'll pass this week. I would have been interested in the TMNT game if it was either the original SNES version or the original arcade version, but I'm not digging the "updated" art style. I'll be quite happy with a ROM of the SNES version.

maybe I will get invincible tiger; as the normal 1200 pts is way too expensive (And I already got MVc2 and TMNT). Or should I wait for Pb winterbottom.... hmmm.

no you cant. all downloaded games are assigned to your xbox, not your profile. take your hard drive with you. that will work.

Now Trials HD is the only Summer of Arcade game that hasn't been dropped in price yet and I'm waiting for it to. I'm thinking it will sometime soon because all the others have.

Monday, February 08, 2010 @ 09:10:14 PM

@33 (and 28) Actually your games are assigned to BOTH your console and your gamertag. If you want to play in your friend's console, recover your GT in your friends console (or take it with a memcard) and sign in to Live... You must be online however to play those games, if the profile is offline the games will be demos.

On topic: MvC2 is a must get... I have to get some points! :S

I like that they put multiple games as a deal of the week at once. Might check Tiger demo.
Anyway there should be a permanent price drop for a lot of games especially the older ones.
